Reflecting on contemporary interaction as an ongoing state of mediation, we can see a screen that rests on the floor and a foldable table measuring 80 cm from the ground that supports three silk embroidered objects.
The text jumps from the vídeo to space, leaps onto fabric, allowing to think of words in another direction, the physicality of speech, it becomes an object.
The table literally raises the text at the level of the viewer giving us unexpected grammar.
Both objects, the table, and the silk pink handkerchiefs are linguistic utterances that become things, and while we try to name and
recognize them, the text runs away when we say them aloud and in the handling of the soft silk pink.
The video follows a triple appropriation, representation appropriation by the artist who takes the language of another (Turkish); a restaurant owner, that chooses to appropriate one of the posters designed by the artist as wallpaper and publicity flyer for his new kebab restaurant as means to exclude non-Turkish speakers and meaning appropriation produced by the construction workers on site of the restaurant. It shows also some members of a Kurdish political party from Turkey rejecting the same poster because it lacks political ideas.
